Congress Venue
The 8th Macedonian Congress on Nutrition and Dietetics & the 3rd Balkan Congress on Obesity will take place at the Porto Palace hotel in Thessaloniki. The exact dates of each congress are as follows:
- 8th Macedonian Congress on Nutrition and Dietetics: 16-17 October, 2008
- 3rd Balkan Congress on Obesity: 17-19 October, 2008
Language
The official language of the 8th Macedonian Congress on Nutrition and Dietetics will be Greek; lectures of foreign speakers will be included as well, with simultaneous translation in Greek.
The official language of the 3rd Balkan Congress on Obesity will be English with simultaneous translation in Greek.
Exhibition
A commercial exhibition of pharmaceutical companies, medical equipment companies, food industries, will be held during the congress.
Entry Formalities
It is advisable to contact the Greek Embassy or Consulate for information regarding visas and entry formalities. A valid passport is generally required for entry into Greece. Citizens of the EU countries or holders of Schengen Visa do not need visa to enter Greece (airlines or other carriers require identity card issued by a public authority).
